About the event

This music and mental health event will be jointly organized by the Faculty of Social Science (FOSS), the Urban Life and Society cluster under the Urban Systems Institute (USI), and the Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (CSRP) to promote mental health awareness among HKU students / staff and enhance their understanding of the relationship between urban life, music, and well-being.


This event includes a public lecture and a fireside chat to explore the changes in life in Hong Kong through the appreciation of local music, as well as music performances that highlight the impact of music on promoting mental wellness in our urban community.
