About the event
The Urban Systems Institute (USI) at The University of Hong Kong is pleased to host the 1st Urban Systems Forum, a high-level platform dedicated to advancing the science and application of urban systems modeling.
Bringing together distinguished scholars around the world, the Forum will explore state-of-the-art approaches in multi-scale urban modeling of population, environment and infrastucture, empowered by artificial intelligence, digital twins, remote sensing, and spatiotemporal analytics. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, the event aims to bridge cutting-edge modeling research with real-world challenges in climate resilience, environmental sustainability, urban equity, and smart governance. By translating complex urban systems science into actionable insights and policy innovations, the Forum seeks to contribute to the development of more resilient, sustainable, and livable cities in the 21st century — fully aligned with USI's mission to reunify the sciences of the city and drive impactful applications.
